Well-loved instruments find new life at Grandpa Mitten’s Workshop. After a proud career in the elevator industry, Bill Kogelschatz now combines skills honed on the job with his passion for woodworking & music to create pieces of furniture as well as lighting fixtures that truly make a statement.

His work has been commissioned by executives for in-office use, parents that want a special gift for their children & even non-profit organizations looking for unique items to include in their silent auction events. Items may be created using heirloom instruments a client possesses or vintage items that have been carefully selected by Kogelschatz himself.
